Awards at Swancon
Swancon51 will host the Western Australian Science Fiction Foundation Fan Awards – The Tin Ducks – and the National Australian Fan Awards – The Ditmars. The award ceremony will be held at the convention at the Pagoda Hotel on the evening of Sunday the 6th of June 2027. Entry to the award ceremony is included in all full convention memberships and Sunday day memberships.
Tin Duck Awards
The Tin Duck awards are a fan voted award for works of SF by Western Australian residents published in the 2026 calendar year. Nominations for the tin ducks will be open in early 2027.
Ditmar Awards
The Ditmar awards are a fan voted award for works of SF by Australian residents. The 2027 DItmars will open to nominations in early 2027 to works by Australian creatives published in the 2026 calendar year.
